When time and motivation allow, some tinkering is done
here in addition to needed equipment repairs. Included in
the lineup are: HP 8640B signal generator (center top shelf);
Elenco function/audio generator; Elenco 10 Hz to 1.3 GHz
frequency counter; Tektronix 465 dual trace oscilloscope
(upper right). To the left of the Yaesu FT-902DM transceiver,
a variac and a Fluke 8062A multimeter. Just to the right
of the transceiver is a L/C Meter IIB inductance/capacitance
meter by Almost All Digital Electronics Corp. Also present
but not visible is a Mercury Model 2000 dynamic mutual conductance
tube tester. With some tube equipment here, that piece of
test gear gets used a lot.
The recently acquired HP signal generator replaces an old
- very old! - Knightkit signal generator seen at the upper
left. Talk about a difference!
Anyone recognize the object hanging next to the clock?
A classic. A Seagate ST-238R 32 MB hard drive which once
was part of a computer here.
