Our cruise ended in Barcelona Spain. Before we returned home, we spent two days in Barcelona seeing the sights of that city.

While we were planning the cruise, knowing that we would have the two days to sightsee in Barcelona, we bought a two day pass on the Hop On Hop Off tour bus system for that city. The Hop On Hop Off bus is one of the best ways to see a city which you may not be familiar with and without the need to manage your own transportation.

Most of the first day we remained on the bus through the entire length of the three routes we took. This gave us the chance to make note of those places we wanted to hop off the bus to walk around and explore.

Barcelona also has an excellent Metro system which make getting around the city easy.

The camera equipment used on this trip was the Canon 40D dSLR and Canon G12. Lenses consisted of a Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8, Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8, and for long distance shots, Canon 100-400mm f/4-5.6 L IS USM telephoto.
I welcome comments and questions.
