Our 2016 Grand Asia Cruise on Princess Cruise Lines 'Grand Princess' began in Singapore. Once we get aboard, even before the ship sails we generally always will take a walk around the decks exploring the ship. Usually luggage is not delivered to the cabins until later. Also before departure from port, the mandatory safety muster is held where safety instructions including how to use the personal floatation devices (life vests) are given.

After two sea days, our first port call was Bangkok, Thailand. A day spent there included sightseeing on a tour.

After leaving Bangkok, another sea day and the we arrived at Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) Vietnam. There too we had a great shore visit sightseeing.

The photos of this portion of our entire cruise are on these pages. The remainder of the cruise which ended at Beijing, China are included in separate albums.
